SIAA Announces Honors

Courtesy of the SIAA: The 2015 All-SIAA teams, Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year for the boys were announced today. The players and coaches were chosen from teams throughout the SIAA in an independent vote by the coaches. McMahon Chooses the Cardinals

Cardinal Mooney senior Ryan McMahon gave a verbal commitment to Louisville on Friday morning. The sharp shooting guard is averaging 27 points per game and was recently named FACA District 16 Player of the Year. McMahon and his teammates host Calvary Christian in a regional semi-final on Tuesday.

Walker to the Tigers

Providence power forward Wyatt Walker came off the board on Wednesday after making a commitment to the Princeton Tigers. The 6’8 senior is averaging nearly 19 points and 11 rebounds per game for the Stallions who head into district play as the state’s #1 ranked team in Class 3A. Walker held offers from over a dozen programs including William & Mary, Penn, UNC-Wilmington and others.
