Windermere Prep senior Michael Stones is headed to play in the Ivy League following a verbal commitment to Dartmouth. The 6’2 combo guard reported offers from Kennesaw State, Army and Liberty.

Gibbs senior Sajon Ford will join his brother Quincy in Boston next season following a verbal pledge to Northeastern University. The 6’11 center chose the Huskies over Auburn, Virginia Tech, Butler and others.

Laster to Gardner Webb

Pensacola Catholic forward DJ Laster gave a verbal commitment to Gardner Webb and Head Coach Tim Craft. The 6’6 versatile senior was a First Team All-Area selection last season and played during the offseason with the Alabama Challenge.

Oldsmar Christian guard Justin James became the third member of Wyoming’s 2015 recruiting class from the sunshine state after giving a verbal commitment to Head Coach Larry Shyatt. James also reported offers from Mississippi State, Georgia Southern, FIU and others.

Red Birds Add a Third

Illinois State has added another Floridian to their 2015 recruiting class with a verbal commitment from Sagemont point guard Keyshawn Evans. Evans helped lead American Heritage to a Class 5A state title last season and will join Windermere Prep’s Matt Hein and Daouda Ndiaye next fall.

Majestic Tejada and Corey Brown will have familiar company in Flagstaff next fall after point guard Michael Green committed to the Lumberjacks this week. The speedy senior was an All-Broward County selection last season and has since transferred to Dillard.

Florida native and current Oak Hill (VA) senior Dwayne Bacon became the third member of Head Coach Leonard Hamilton’s 2015 recruiting class after giving a verbal commitment while on an official visit this weekend. Bacon chose the Seminoles over Baylor, Memphis and others.
