Cylla to the Owls

One the of the state’s top available prospects came off the board on the last day of the early signing period when Florid Atlantic landed Lake Worth senior Jeantal Cylla. The 6’6 forward chose the Owls over East Carolina. Cylla is our #24 ranked prospect in the 2015 class.

Liberty Christian senior Tacko Fall has given UCF a verbal commitment. The 7’6 center picked the Knights over Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Purdue and others.

Gators add Keith Stone

Zion Lutheran forward Keith Stone became the fourth member of Florida’s 2015 recruiting class after a verbal commitment on Monday. The highly skilled senior made his decision following an official visit to the Gainesville campus last weekend. Stone chose the Gators over Virginia Tech, South Carolina and others.

Maitland to Morehead St

Malik Maitland

Father Lopez senior committed to Morehead State over the weekend. The 5’10 point guard averaged over 22 points per game last season. Maitland also considered Norfolk State, North Carolina Central and Liberty.

Williamson to Texas Tech

Evans senior guard CJ Williamson ended his recruitment while on an official visit this weekend with a commitment to Texas Tech. The 6’5 Williamson also considered Virginia Tech, Clemson and others. He will join current freshman Justin Gray (Berkeley Prep) in Lubbock next fall.

Wake Forest Adds Another Big

Head Coach Danny Manning continued his frontcourt recruiting success by adding Cardinal Newman forward John Collins. The 6’8 skilled senior joins Montverde’s Doral Moore as part of Wake Forest’s 2015 recruiting class.

Blackshear to Blacksburg

Evans senior post player Kerry Blackshear has committed to Head Coach Buzz Williams and Virginia Tech. The 6’9 forward also considered Arkansas, Boston College, Clemson, Miami, and SMU.

Moore to Wake Forest

Montverde Academy center Doral Moore has come off the board with a commitment to Head Coach Danny Manning and Wake Forest University. The 7’0 senior also considered Kentucky, Ohio State, Florida and Illinois.

Ruise to IPFW

Head Coach Jon Coffman continued his recruiting success in the sunshine state by getting a verbal pledge from high scoring Baker County guard Charles Ruise. The 6’2 senior was an All-State selection last season after averaging 20.8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game.
