Gibbs senior Barry Brown announced a verbal commitment to Kansas State on Wednesday night. The high scoring combo guard averaged 20.5 points per game last season and chose KSU over Houston, Wichita St and Texas A&M.
Illinois State picked up a pair of verbal commitments over the weekend in 6’11 center Daouda Ndiaye and 6’1 shooting guard Matt Hein of Windermere Prep. Both were originally committed to Boston University but had changed their plans prior to a successful summer with the Orlando Venom.

Oak Ridge senior Alex Owens gave a verbal commitment to Providence College on Monday. The 6’8 power forward who had previously pledged to UCF, also had interest from programs such as Louisville, Maryland and Florida.
Oldsmar Christian forward Andrew Moemeka became the second member of Wyoming’s 2015 recruiting class after a verbal pledge on Tuesday. The athletic, 6’8 senior made his decision following an official visit to the Laramie campus and chose the Cowboys over Georgia Southern, North Florida, Kennesaw State and others.
One of the fastest rising prospects in the 2015 class gave a verbal commitment on Monday when senior Deng Adel chose the Louisville Cardinals. The skilled, 6’7 small forward is a native of the Sudan and averaged 22 points per game last season at Victory Rock Prep.
