Florida Hoops has been on the web since 1999. The domain name was purchased in 2001 when the decision was made to expand from a regional recruiting information service to a statewide informational website. You can find complete player ratings, team rankings, and feature articles throughout the website. It has been a long time and a lot of hard work. Many people agree that Florida Hoops has now become the #1 authority on Florida high school basketball. 

Florida Hoops has made a big jump forward with our latest update. We now offer a fan-based subscription, a searchable player database for our annual subscribers, and a college recruiting service, the “Florida Hoops Report”. Many of these changes have been in the planning stages for several years and it’s great to offer our loyal visitors a brand new look and feel that everyone can appreciate. The fan-based subscription will give registered users special access to the player database and premium articles.

The Florida Hoops Report is a recruiting service available only to college programs. The annual subscription to the “Report” also includes access to the entire Florida Hoops website. We have not left out our loyal audience that has come to enjoy all of the free information that Florida Hoops offers. Most of our articles will remain free as others become part of the subscription base. Also, the free subscription will allow everyone to search the player database and interact on our new message board. The same Player Class Lists that have been offered will just look a little bit different. Our team rankings and player ratings will still remain free to everyone. We are actually adding more content and information. More detailed player information will become part of the annual subscription and become part of the database for the Florida Hoops Report.
